Today’s Inspiration:
“Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.”Psalms 127:1 NKJV
Prayer is priority, pivotal and powerful in our spiritual life. God searches the earth for one that will stand on the gap to seek Him in prayer for his people, nation and land. Ezekiel 22:30 When we do not take prayer seriously, we do not take God seriously. The condition of our communion with God reflects our covenantal relationship with God. Prayer is not about what we want but what God desires for us.
Jesus taught,”When you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”Matthew 6:5-8 God’s word and way will not lack God’s providence. Hear, listen and obey and be blessed. Shalom!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let the fire at the prayer altar keeps burning and never go out. Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to you in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving day and night. Your words are like hot coals; your fire refines us as gold and may the sacrifice of praise be offered as a sweet incense before your throne of grace. In your presence, there is a fullness of Joy, in Jesus Name, Amen.
