Today’s Inspiration:

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.”Psalms 37:23-24 NKJV

I remembered when I first learnt how to skate, I have to learn how to break fall safely. Similarly like a child who learns how to walk also learns to fall and stand up. It doesn’t mean when we walk in God’s word, we will not face challenges or set backs. Life is not a bed of roses but in Christ, we rest on the rock of our salvation.

Ironically, we discovered that despite all set backs, there is a divine set up by the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus turned Peter’s fishing into nets of souls; turned water into wine, and turned sinners into saints for God’s ministry. Wisdom speaks,”The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.”Proverbs 16:1-3 Hence do not be quick to do your own will but be patient to seek God’s will for He shall direct your steps.

Prayer: O lord my God, let it not be my will but yours be done on earth as it is in heaven. I choose to lay down my plans before you and seek ye first your kingdom and righteousness. I do not worry for tomorrow for tomorrow will worry for itself. My heart and my mind are meditating on your word and promises. Direct my tongue and my steps O Lord, and give me a new measure of faith to follow your will, purpose and plans, in Jesus Name, Amen.
