Today’s Inspiration:
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”Psalms 100:4 NKJV
Thanksgiving is not a feeling or emotion but a choice and decision to show gratitude and thankfulness unto God even in times of troubles. Praise is not just singing songs or dancing, it is a spiritual weapon against the enemy and the restoration of our soul, which is the peace of God.
Apostle Paul in his letters says,”Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:4-7 Despite being in the prison, his joy and spirit were not limited by earthly hindrances but u hindered in heavenly providence. Praise changes our countenance, attitude and renews our minds.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to praise you both in the valley and also on the mountain. May the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to you in thanksgiving. May I enter your gates in praise every morning and your presence, word and dwelling are my delightful providence and confidence, in Jesus Name, Amen.
