Today’s Inspiration:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”Deuteronomy 6:5 NIV

Spiritual maturity is not weigh by the gifting, calling and anointing that we have. On the contrary it is weigh by the relationship we have with our heavenly Abba Father. One day a Christian lady asked why my family keeps fighting over small and petty things? Love is not how much it is owned or entitled to you but rather it is how much we are thankful and grateful to God who has given us His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, while we are sinners. Romans 5:8

Fights always arises with comparison in our own eyes and from the pride of life. 1 John 2:16 Everyone wants to be right and respected. Unfortunately, we felt terrible afterwards despite winning the argument or getting what we wanted but destroyed the relationship that was built for so long. Remember, Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy families through divisions by anger, jealousy and pride. Jesus said,” For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26 It’s only through the posture, image and above all the love of Jesus Christ, can we learn to love God, self and others through the Cross.

Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me if I have placed anything above loving you with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength. Guide me daily to seek you first your kingdom and your righteousness so that I can become more like Christ, your only begotten Son, who gave His life for my sins, iniquities and transgressions. Empty my mind of the worldly things, and fill me with the fullness of the love of Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
