Today’s Inspiration: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15 NIV
In the marketplace it is not easy to put God first due to financial pressure, stressful schedule, hectic workload, health issues, challenging parenting and even busy ministries. So many fronts are fighting for time and space in our minds. But what we truly and deeply need is the divine peace of God, in Christ Jesus, our chief cornerstone.
Whenever we don’t start our day in prayer and God’s word following Jesus in the Holy Spirit, we are not prioritizing peace in our minds and hearts. Without God’s peace, fear, anxiety and stress takes up its place in our mind and we become impulsive and reactive rather than having divine order and blessing in our life. Philippians 4:6-7 To build our prayer life, we have to first prioritize to seek God first daily. When we put His Kingdom, meaning His presence first, we encounter His peace, which protects our mind and heart supernaturally with His word. The peace of God always manifests from a thankful, humble and healthy heart. Proverbs 22:4 God’s peace also produces faith in our spirit man.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I need your divine love, peace, joy and guidance daily to be emotionally healthy and mentally sound to accomplish what you have tasked me to do. May your divine word lead my steps to do all things for the glory of God. May I be discipline daily to seek ye first your kingdom and your righteousness, that I know all things shall be added and fall in its beautiful places, for your dwelling place is forever my delight, in Jesus Name, Amen.
