The Power
“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” Luke 9:1-2 NIV
The kingdom of God is not just of eating and drinking. It is a battle that is spiritual to save souls for the salvation of God.
What is blocking salvation is idolatry. We have to pull down the strongholds and break all bondages to open the eyes of souls to be saved. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
The contending for salvation brings healing and deliverance for those who are oppressed, depressed and suppressed by the enemy. The gospel brings glad tidings not just of good news but of power to breakthrough the enemy’s line of defence and rescue those who are in bondage in Jesus Name!
