When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the captain wants to go. James‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭

In their day, John the Baptist and Jesus proclaimed that the Kingdom of Heaven had arrived. When we place our faith in Jesus we enter the Kingdom. In this study we will explore how we are to live as citizens of this kingdom in spite of being “earthbound”.
Lessons:
1.        Purpose of Creation – why did God create the earth and humanity?
2.        Israel and the Kingdom – what role did Israel play in the Kingdom and does it still have a role in God’s plan.
3.        Church and Kingdom – have we properly understood the meaning of “ekklesia” and what is the role of the ekklesia?
4.        Ambassadors of the Kingdom – what is our role and responsibility as kingdom people.
5.        Enforcing the Kingdom in the Last Days – In the end the kingdom of God will be established on the earth, what role do we play in the last days?
