Today’s Inspiration:
“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” Psalms 128:1-2 NKJV
The fear of the Lord is humility, obedience and teachability. It is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 9:10 God’s word, in God’s ways, will not lack His workings in our lives. The greatest stronghold is the pride of life which is the cause of all fall and failings. But one who repents draw close to God and receives His blessings.
Kingdom success emerges from humility and all failures come from pride. Both satan and man’s fall are similar. Humility always brings obedience and blessings through God’s word in the spirit but pride causes rebellion and fall because of self-centeredness in the flesh. Wisdom speaks, “Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.” Proverbs 3:7-10 Time of transformation begins with one who is after God’s own heart.
Prayer: O Lord my God, draw me close to you and may I hide your word in my heart that I will not sin against you. And may the words of my mouth be pleasing to you always to be humble and not prideful. If there are anything offensives within me, let there be forgiveness and lead me in your everlasting ways. For obedience is better than sacrifice, in Jesus Name, Amen.
