Word of Knowledge

“The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.” Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Discernment is the language of the Holy Spirit who brings forth truth and God’s truth sets us free.

Knowledge is like gems to the wise but stones to the foolish. “Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”‭‭ Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭

God’s Word carries His knowledge and only those who seek and obey Him carries His wisdom to make godly decisions through discernment. They all operate through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to touch lives.

In their day, John the Baptist and Jesus proclaimed that the Kingdom of Heaven had arrived. When we place our faith in Jesus we enter the Kingdom. In this study we will explore how we are to live as citizens of this kingdom in spite of being “earthbound”.
Lessons:
1.        Purpose of Creation – why did God create the earth and humanity?
2.        Israel and the Kingdom – what role did Israel play in the Kingdom and does it still have a role in God’s plan.
3.        Church and Kingdom – have we properly understood the meaning of “ekklesia” and what is the role of the ekklesia?
4.        Ambassadors of the Kingdom – what is our role and responsibility as kingdom people.
5.        Enforcing the Kingdom in the Last Days – In the end the kingdom of God will be established on the earth, what role do we play in the last days?
