Today’s Inspiration: “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬ We have to strive towards maturity in Christ and not to be entangled by the things of the world. The heavenly path is towards holiness and not worldliness, growing spiritually and not carnally. Our past pain, brokenness and failures can hinder us moving forward. Only Christ is able to take them to the Cross and releases us into His calling, gifts and righteousness. 1 Peter 2:24

The kingdom of God is not about perfection of self but glorification of Christ. Godliness is not about religiosity but about our relationship with God and our family. It brings value for all things in the present time and life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8 Apostle said, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.” Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭When we humble ourselves and allow Holy Spirit and Word of God to work in us, Christ lay hold on us and we grow in transformation.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let I not walk wayward according to the world but heavenward according to the word of God. I surrender all my past and my pain to you at Calvary. Shield me with your glory and grace, in repentance, love and forgiveness. I believe what had intended to harm me in the past, God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Lead me Holy Spirit in thy heavenward path of Christ, and mold me in godliness, in Jesus Name, Amen.
