25 June 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo
Today’s Inspiration: “I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success.” Nehemiah 2:20 Nehemiah faces many difficulties, oppositions and plots by the enemies, yet he didn’t curse them, fight them or give attention to them. He simply replied and responded with what God says and did what God has told him to do. Reacting to the enemy can make us angry, frustrated and distracted. Focus on Christ and do His commands with His word. Our response affects the outcomes from our hearts.
Joseph didn’t give his brothers what they deserves despite of what they did to him. God caused him to forget all grievances and showed compassion like Christ and raised him up to the right hand of Pharoah. He told his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20 What is your response to those who hurt you in the past? God can heal your reactions. Before Jesus went to the Cross, He said, “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Luke 6:27-28 Obedience is never a feeling, it is a choice to follow Christ.
Prayer: O Lord my God, it is not by might nor by power but by your Spirit, I choose to respond always with your love, your grace and your righteousness through the Word of God. I choose to speak and believe all the words you have spoken through the Holy Scriptures into my life. You are the God who heals me, provides for me and guides me with Kingdom responses and wisdom. I believe I am a success because of Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
