Today’s Inspiration:
“On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.”Malachi 3:17 NIV
Christianity is not a religion but a relationship between our heavenly abba father and us. He is the father to the fatherless. Psalm 68:5 The full image of the father was manifested through Christ Jesus, who is the only begotten son of God that took all our sins at the Cross with His life. His desire is to reconcile us with our Father.
One of the most desperate and key prayer for the church is to have godly fathers in families. Apostle Paul revealed,”Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.”1 Corinthians 4:15 We need spiritual and fatherly guidance who can bring love, discipline and godly correction to the children. And with the mother’s nurturing and teaching, it brings divine affirmation, affection and acceptance into one’s soul and esteem. Jesus demonstrated how He served and loved the Father that brought salvation to this fallen world. Nothing is impossible for God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I pray for the salvation of all fathers in the families to come to know the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is not by mighty nor by power, but by the Spirit of the living God, our abba father in heaven. Turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents. Let there be healing, restoration and reconciliation, in Jesus Name, Amen.
