Today’s Inspiration:
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”Proverbs 23:7 NKJV What we believe in our hearts are visions of the future. When God created us, He has His dreams, visions and prophecies for us. It is His divine language of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:17
He wants to have a personal relationship with us and not a religious or ritualistic life. He wants to speak to us through His Holy Word and Spirit directly and intimately. James 4:8
How to renew our minds and visions is to fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrews 12:2 Once I was praying for a tormented soul who keeps seeing darkness and unclean things. Then the Holy Spirit prompted my spirit to tell him to look to Jesus by closing his eyes to the world. Suddenly all darkness began to scatter, fear began to leave when we prayed and the torment loses its hold on him because of God’s glory and light. The idolatry, self and world has blinded his vision of Christ. What we see is what we become in our hearts, so therefore guard our hearts, words and mind in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 10:5
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my eyes look up to you and the Cross, who has liberated my soul from all sins when I put my faith in you as my Lord and Saviour. Let I not look to the left or the right but look heavenward to your grace, love and mercy over my life and salvation of my soul. I am created for a holy life. Let I not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of my mind in Christ. So that I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will, in Jesus Name, Amen.
