Today’s Inspiration:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”John 13:34-35 NIV
The core and fruit of discipleship is God’s love and love for souls respectively. It is not to get what we want but to give what God wants. For it is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35
Discipleship is not about programs but about life to life, walking like Christ. It is not to be functional and religious but to be relational and love others as ourselves. It is not about results or performance but about the journey and process. One of the most powerful approaches to discipleship is to hear and reach to the lost, the least and the last. Pray and walk with them in Christ. The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:7-8 NIV
Prayer: O Lord my God, teach me to be a disciple of your unconditional love. Guide me to live a life to love, forgive and extend grace so that Christ is the evidence of my life. I believe your perfect love never fails and removes all the fears and anxieties that we are facing in this time and age of uncertainties. Let there be healing, restoration and reconciliation in the journey with Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
