Today’s Inspiration: Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23 NIV

Spiritual growth and maturity does not happen in a conference or program. It happens when we face the strongest crisis, relational challenges, and even facing sickness. It’s a journey to follow Christ, a lifetime of discipleship and moulding of our inner man in complete obedience and surrender. The kingdom work is not just what we do but who we become deep inside.

He continued saying, “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.” Luke 9:24-26 When we only want Jesus, can we let go of the world, repent of our sins, heal our wounds, and do the Father’s will. He is our blessed assurance.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to fully surrender myself to you. To deny myself, carry the cross and be your disciple. Let your word become my daily manna, your Spirit becomes my teacher and your presence becomes my dwelling place. You are more than enough for me. And there is no place I would rather be than to be in your house, all the days of my life, in Jesus Name, Amen.
