Today’s Inspiration:
“The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” Isaiah 11:2 NKJV
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of our almighty God who lights up the spirit man. Satan and his works brings forth sin, darkness and heaviness to the soul but God’s word and spirit exposes sin, scatters the darkness, and lifts up all heaviness in His glorious and marvelous light.
The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart. Proverbs 20:27 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” I Corinthians 3:16-17 When we are guided by the Holy Spirit, His word becomes the lamp to our feet and light to our path. Psalm 119:105 Many do not realize that the plans of God reside in the spirit man, which He has predestined for us individually. Let them who has eyes and ears, let them see and hear.
Prayer: O Lord my God, light up my spirit and lamp of the temple that I may see with my eyes of your vision, so that I may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that I may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in your glory. Lead me to light up the temple of the Holy Spirit with your seven lights in Jesus Name, Amen.
