Today’s Inspiration: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 NKJV Apostle Paul went through many tests, trials and tribulations in spreading the gospel and even at many odds, imprisonment, stripes, betrayal and persecutions, his faith was in Christ alone. Building God’s kingdom, ministries and church to live as a true disciple of Christ is not a walk in the park nor it is just about prosperity and breakthroughs. It is a life of a true living sacrifice. Roman’s 12:1
Despite all the pain Apostle Paul went through, he found the purpose of his life in Christ Jesus. He is a vessel that Christ healed to bring healing to the least, the last and the lost. He didn’t hold on to the things of the world tightly, he held on the hands of the messiah firmly. He wasn’t wealthy yet God works miracles, signs and wonders in his life. He said to die for Christ is gain and to live is for Christ alone. Philippians 1:21 He shared, “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things, I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.” Philippians 4:11-12 In all things, Christ be praised for godliness and contentment is great gain.
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me in thy calling and thy Holy Spirit. Give me strength, wisdom, and perseverance to do the work you have placed into my hands and to finish well for the glory of God. You are the author and finisher of my faith. Grant me a missional heart to be a producer and not a consumer; a discipler and not a pew warmer, a sower and not hoarder. Make me your workmanship in your likeness, in Jesus Name, Amen.
