Word of Wisdom

“The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream.” Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Wisdom comes from the word of God which is strong, directive and profound. Do not underestimate the power of words in our lives.

Rushing waters brings life. When I was once trekking in Norway, I was told by my Norwegian friends not to drink from stagnant waters but from moving streams because it is fresh, clear and pure.

Similarly, the realm of the prophetic gives us strength, counsel and wisdom to act according to God’s commandments and not stay complacent, conceited, and in our comfort zone. 1 Corinthians 14:3

In their day, John the Baptist and Jesus proclaimed that the Kingdom of Heaven had arrived. When we place our faith in Jesus we enter the Kingdom. In this study we will explore how we are to live as citizens of this kingdom in spite of being “earthbound”.
Lessons:
1.        Purpose of Creation – why did God create the earth and humanity?
2.        Israel and the Kingdom – what role did Israel play in the Kingdom and does it still have a role in God’s plan.
3.        Church and Kingdom – have we properly understood the meaning of “ekklesia” and what is the role of the ekklesia?
4.        Ambassadors of the Kingdom – what is our role and responsibility as kingdom people.
5.        Enforcing the Kingdom in the Last Days – In the end the kingdom of God will be established on the earth, what role do we play in the last days?
