Today’s Inspiration: “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Waiting upon the Lord is a spiritual discipline, dependency and deliberation to grow a deeper relationship with the Lord. The flesh is always restless, but the spirit is hunger for the rest in the Lord. Today the greatest battle is mental health and because of the digital prison (online social and media) our minds are overloaded, over-stressed and over anxious.

We want everything immediately and lost the art of waiting, intercession and quieting our soul to hear God. John 10:27 We need to break from self-gratification into God glorification. The spirit of anxiousness brings anger and anger brings violence. A sound mind can only be obtained from the mind of Christ. When we learn to wait upon the Lord, we learn to take care of our soul. Apostle James taught, “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” James‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭New strength, peace and providence shall come in the waiting room for Christ. Our breakthrough comes in the closet of intercession.

Prayer: O Lord my God, open my eyes that I can see, open my ears that I can hear and open up my heart that I can receive the infilling of your Holy Spirit. Break my busy time into divine waiting time to pray, worship and heed your word and spirit. Our hope in God never fails because your divine love and mercies endures forever. Remove my media time and turn them into meditating time of your Word and leading by your Spirit in prayer. We shall renew our strength and restore our souls, in Jesus Name, Amen.
