2 July 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo
Today’s Inspiration: “In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.” Exodus 15:13 NIV Fear, anxiety and stress are the results of depending on our strength, feelings and thoughts rather than depending on Christ in prayer, in His word and holy spirit. God’s perfect love will cast out all fears when we choose to trust Him with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
Most of the wrong decision we made in life is due to our own feelings, opinions and perceptions rather than seeking God first. Moses was a clear example when he chose to take situations into his own hands by killing the Egyptian and has to be exiled for 40 years. He chose to hit the rock twice rather than to heed God’s voice to speak to the rock. Eventually God didn’t allow him lead the people to the promised land. Numbers 20:11 Remember anger is always the moment we make wrong decisions. Always pray, seek the Lord first and take heed of His word, voice and counsel. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Bring all things into His hands, trust Him and He will guide us.
Prayer: O Lord my God, in all situations and circumstances, let not my anguish thoughts and feelings have the better of me. Let me be still and know you are God and shall fight all my battles. You are my ever-present help in troubles. I believe my battles belongs to you. Give me your peace, providence and presence always in prayers. Lead me from all problems into praises, fears into faith and worries into worship, in Jesus Name, Amen.
