Today’s Inspiration: “He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. Rebuke is more effective for a wise man Than a hundred blows on a fool.” Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Discipline and correction with love brings trust, love and grace in our relationship with God, self and others. One needs to be humble to learn from our own mistakes and be willing to change. It takes conviction in a broken spirit and contrite heart to seek God for obedience, for He will not despise.

Jesus told, “A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.” Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭28‬-‭31‬ ‭Obedience to God brings wisdom and blessings but foolishness falls and repeats his own folly.

Prayer: O Lord my God, may your laver reflect the mistakes in my life and to turn from all my sins, change my hardened heart and give me a pure one to love and follow you. Guide me to learn from my past to put off the old man and obey your will to put on the new man in Christ Jesus. For only in you can I be a new creation to start afresh and anew, in Jesus Name, Amen.
