Today’s Inspiration: “Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.” John 17:11b NIV A family that prays together stays together. The product of prayer is to bring unity, love and forgiveness in every home, marriage and family. Satan main strategy is to cause discord, disagreement and division in the church, marriage and workplace. But he can’t cross the word of God in prayer, because of the Name which is above all other names, Jesus Christ.
Before resolving any conflict or dispute, we have to first reconcile with God by His grace and forgiveness. If we can’t submit to God, we can’t submit to one another. Ephesians 5:22 Prayer is not seeking what we want but what God wants of us. Obedience and humility is the breakthrough for prayers. Apostle James reminds us that quarrels emerge because all want their own ways. James 4:1 Jesus said,” Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20
Prayer: O Lord my God, may the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be align to your will and word. Forgive me if I transgress in any way. I believe when I submit to God, resist the devil and he shall flee. Draw near to me Lord as I draw near to you. May my marriage, family, work and ministry be in unity in Christ Jesus. Protect my family with thy Holy Spirit to bear fruit and surround us with your love, peace and joy, in Jesus Name, Amen.
