Today’s Inspiration: “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ The flesh desire the world but the spirit govern by the Holy Spirit desire the Kingdom of God. We need the Spirit of God to renew the mind in victory in Christ. For without Him, we can do nothing but with Him all things are possible. John 15:5 It’s only those who live by the Spirit do all things for the glory of God is bearing much fruit. Today the greatest spiritual warfare is against the mind to be filled with lust, pride, self-centeredness, greed and sexual immorality. No one is exempted.

Apostle Paul reinforced the imminent need to set our mind right to be healed by the Spirit and to be governed by His righteousness. He wrote, ”Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭Hence never give your mind to the flesh but to the Spirit for the Word and the things of God.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my mind not conform to the patterns of the world but to be transformed in the renewal by your Word and Holy Spirit. Break every idolatry and cleanse all unclean thoughts within my mind. Consecrate me from the lust of my eyes, lust of my flesh and pride of life. Sanctify my mind and my heart to be holy and pleasing to your Holy Spirit. Let my mind focus on the heavenly things above and not on earthly things. Captivate every thoughts in Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
