Today’s Inspiration: There is no spiritual life without a prayer life, and without prayer there is no power and presence of God in a Christian life. Our spiritual eyes can only open and stay open when we focus on the vision and mission of God through prayers. Without the vision, knowledge and revelation of God, people perish and being lost to the world and fleshly desires instead of Kingdom plans, purposes and prayers. Prayer open our eyes to God’s presence, promises, and power.

Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. Proverbs 29:18 Our natural senses are also our spiritual gateways to the Holy Spirit. For faith comes from hearing, hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17 The vision of God always requires faith because it is beyond our capability, resources and capacity. If we can do it by ourselves, we don’t need faith and God. Jesus didn’t feed the 5000 with catering services but rather 5 loaves and 2 fishes. Faith begins as small as a mustard seed but it can move mountains because the seed comes from God, He will bring it to fruition. 2 Corinthian 9:10 Prayer requires our availability, humility and vulnerability for God to be used, not in our terms but in His.

Prayer: O Lord my God, what I have left I am willing to surrender to you like the boy with the best he can offer and you use it for your signs and wonders. For it is by grace I have been saved, through faith—and this is not from me, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For I believe I am Your handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do. Open up the eyes of my heart to see your vision, in Jesus Name, Amen.
