Today’s Inspiration: God’s divine principles and order in His word are timeless truth, instructions and statutes. Wisdom manifests when we choose to fear God and obey His Word. Most of the conflicts in homes come from the pride of our flesh. We want our way rather than submitting to God, His word and to one another through Christ. Self becomes the golden calf, because the spirit of pride is idolatry, isolation and rebellion. Have we check ourselves for pride in prayer? Psalm 139:23-24

Apostle Paul taught,”Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”Ephesians 5:22-27 Before we can bring unity in our family, we have to first humble ourselves, submit to God, and obey His word through the Holy Spirit. Before unity there must be purity and humility in forgiveness.

Prayer: O Lord my God, Your Word is life and my delight which I shall meditate day and night. Forgive me Lord if there is any pride in me which comes from selfish gratification, justification and lack submission, surrendering and obedience unto You. May I deny self, carry the Cross and follow You in walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Teach me to submit to one another in reverence of Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
