Today’s Inspiration: “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.” Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ There is breakthroughs in fasting and praying.

Prophet Isaiah speaks of the type of fasting that pleases God and brings providence to the poor and healing to the sick. Fasting breaks our flesh and brings us in deeper dependency on God through Christ in the Spirit. It turns our hearts to the missional works of Jesus.

Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me in prayer, fasting and blessing. As I draw close to you, draw close to me. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence and take not your holy spirit away from me. Restore unto me the joy of your salvation, strength and healing in Jesus Name, Amen.
