Finding God in the Wilderness

“O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.” Psalms‬ ‭63‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Are you in a season of dryness or wilderness? David reveals that even in the difficult times, when prayer and worship seems tough and hope seems bleak, he chose to find God’s presence as his priority in prayer and praises. As difficult as it seems, obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22 Worship and prayer are like spiritual wings that carries us.

Strange to say but true that it is during our wilderness we have the most time for God, being facing health challenges, finding job or broken in relationship. Prayer and worship redefine our posture, attitude and decision which renews our mind and redirects our hearts to trust God. He fills us again and fights all our battles.

To God be the Glory!
