Today’s Inspiration:
“Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”Matthew 12:25 NIV
One of the most important, powerful and strategic prayer is for unity in the Spirit. The devil is a liar, deceiver and a divider, who comes to steal, kill and destroy. But Christ came to give us life and life abundantly. John 10:10 The Holy Spirit brings divine agreement, peace and communion in union with the Lord. Unity is the objective of worship and obedience is the fruit of prayer.
There is an anointing and blessing in unity. It blesses the marriage, household, business, work and ministry. Gratitude is the best attitude and humility forges unity. Ecclesiastes 4:12 The Psalmist sings,”How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.” Psalms 133:1-3 Pray for unity.
Prayer: O Lord my God, as two or three gathers in agreement today in prayer, we choose to be one with your Word, your Spirit and your Communion. For the Lord our God is one, and your Kingdom is one in Spirit, one body, one Lord, one faith, one hope, one baptism and one God. May your Spirit leads anoints us in unity for our marriage, family, school, work, business, mission and ministry to be blessed, in Jesus Name, Amen.
