Today’s Inspiration: “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬ The sign of spiritual awakening is repentance for restoration. Today this word is least preached in the global contemporary church. The grace of God is not for spiritual cover up in darkness but divine exposure of God’s love to repent in His light. Too many Christians are bound by secret addiction, sexual immorality, wounds of uncontrolled anger, and deep roots of bitterness in darkness.

The church is not a platform to pride our best but to heal our worst. We need a church that heals and delivers the darkest areas in our soul into God’s marvellous light with His relational truth that breaks religious hypocrisy. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” Romans‬ ‭13‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭

Prayer: O Lord my God, awaken my soul and enlighten my spiritual eyes. Search my heart daily and know my thoughts, test and refine me by bloating out all sins, offences and any lust of addiction and fleshly desires. Break the snare of the fowler and all bondages. Give me clean hands and a pure heart by the Name of the Lord. Redeem me by your precious blood and cleanse me by your holy word. Heal and deliver me from the snare of the enemy, in Jesus Name, Amen.
