SOHSM 2026 M2 - Building our lives as the Tabernacle of Christ’s Glory

3 March - 7 April 2026
Tuesdays, 7:30pm via Zoom

About the Event

Teacher: Ps Francis Ng

Exodus 25:8-9

Under the new covenant, Christ’s atoning sacrifice on the cross has removed the barrier of spiritual separation between God and humanity. Nevertheless, this restored access to God does not negate the ethical and spiritual demands placed upon believers. Scripture exhorts those who are in Christ to present themselves as living sacrifices—holy and acceptable to God—which constitutes their spiritual act of worship (Romans 12:1). Furthermore, believers are called to conform their lives to God’s will, pursuing what is good, acceptable, and perfect in His sight (Romans 12:2).

The objective of this module is to present a comprehensive examination of the Tabernacle as both a divinely ordained blueprint and a prophetic foreshadowing of the person and work of Christ (Hebrews 8:5). In this theological framework, the Tabernacle functions metaphorically as a spiritual mirror, reflecting divine truth and illustrating the process by which humanity is transformed according to God’s design into the image of Christ Jesus, our Redeemer and Lord (2 Corinthians 3:12–18).
